Description
Distributed Sun LLC, a growing solar project developer founded in 2009 and based in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Financial Fellow to take on a wide variety of research and technical responsibilities.
Distributed Sun develops, finances, constructs and operates small-to-medium sized, solar renewable energy facilities on commercial building real-estate in the Mid-Atlantic.
Position Overview:
Intern will work primarily with Distributed Sun Senior Financial Analyst. Candidate must have expert knowledge of finance, Excel, and building/understanding financial models in Excel.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have both a college degree in finance as well as professional experience in a finance-related role. Candidates at a master's degree level will receive special consideration, and experience in project finance is a plus.
The ideal candidate has a passion for learning about the solar industry, can work independently, and can work well in a dynamic, high-charged environment. The desired start date for the internship is as soon as possible.
