Position Overview:

Morrison-Maierle, Inc., has an immediate opportunity in its growing Environmental Group for a Senior Environmental Scientist and potentially, depending on experience, corporate-level Market Group Leader.

Market Group Leader (MGL):

MGL's are Senior Professionals who lead discipline teams among all offices in the areas of business development, project management, and project planning. Market Group Leader responsibilities include motivating, coaching and mentoring their staff in business development, diversifying the services Morrison-Maierle provides based upon our clients' needs, evaluating client satisfaction, evaluating staffing needs and recruiting, and evaluating technical training needs.

Responsibilities:

Managing environmental projects and project teams, business development, regulatory/scientific research in wetland delineation, mitigation/restoration projects, biological inventories, NEPA documents, and other similar field tasks; preparation of scientific reports, regulatory agency permit applications, and NEPA compliance documents.

Qualifications

At a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in aquatic ecology, biology, botany or related discipline. 10-15 years of experience preferred. Preference given to those individuals with demonstrated knowledge of the Montana/Rocky Mountain Region.
