Duties:
MEC Analytical Systems, an ecological consulting firm, has an opportunity for an environmental scientist having 6+ years in ecological or other environment studies focusing on watershed and land use planning issues.
Qualifications:
Experience in CEQA/NEPA documentation and permitting is desired, as well as strong project management and client interaction skills. Good writing and analytical skills are necessary; wetland, botanical or avian experience is desirable.
The ideal candidate will work well in a collaborative scientific environment, be skilled at working with other team-members to achieve deadlines and have strong communication skills.
