Description
Duties:
The Montana Water Trust (MWT) seeks an energetic and experienced
Development Director to plan, manage and implement MWT's fundraising
efforts. MWT is a private, nonprofit group established in September 2001 and is
dedicated to working cooperatively with farmers, ranchers, and other landowners
in Montana to restore and enhance tributary flows to benefit fisheries.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, three years of fundraising
experience, demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills, strong verbal and
written communication skills, demonstrated enthusiasm, diplomacy, and
perseverance, and demonstrated ability to work successfully with a wide range of
people.
Compensation:
$22,000 for an 8-month contract position. Opportunity for contract renewal
based upon successful fundraising efforts of selected Development Director.
