Position Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service/Contract Specialist to join our Sales team. If you are a dynamic, self-driven, enthusiastic team player with sales and/or customer service experience in the Natural Foods Industry, we want to talk to you! This position is located in the heart of the Columbia Basin in Ephrata, Washington.

Some travel will be required to our Trout Lake, WA farm location as well as travel for industry events and customer visits. Trout Lake Farm is committed to flexible work schedules; however, telecommuting is not an option for this position.

Responsibilities

Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to product/service inquiries, sales promotions, customer orders, billing inquiries, suggestions, complaints, and related matters. Includes:

  • Meet or exceed forecasted sales revenue goals
  • Ensures good customer relations are maintained, and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly and effectively, and in accordance with consumer laws; in conjunction with QA and leadership team
  • Develops organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers
  • Develops improvement plans in response to customer feedback
  • Provides timely responses to customer inquiries by telephone or email, consistent with service and quality standards
  • Provides management information and forecasts by analyzing sales information
  • Develops, monitors and analyzes key performance indicators
  • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing department processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable process improvements
  • Collects and Analyzes activity data and initiates, develops and recommends improvements to systems, processes and procedures to increase productivity and reduce cost
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with other TLF departments to ensure that customer expectations for quality, cost and delivery are met or exceeded
  • Manage age of inventory, work interdepartmentally and in conjunction with leadership to reduce loss of inventory due to age/expiration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous product sales experience, preferably in the Natural Products, Organic/Herbal industry
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Leadership and Business Acumen
  • Strong Negotiation and Collaboration Skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems with attention to detail
  • Project Management experience with demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and create strategic working relationships both internal and external
  • Organized and able to effectively prioritize conflicting task/projects
  • Solid technical abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM experience preferred

Compensation

  • Base Salary DOE $60,000
  • Profit share/Incentive Program- not commission based
