Senior Commercial Solar PV Project Manager

Position Overview

Role and Responsibilities:

Working from our National office based in Glebe, the Senior Commercial Solar PV Project Manager will:

• Be responsible for the project management of the emerging commercial solar installations; managing the process from post sales to completion. This is a fast-paced, demanding role.
• Daily, you will be organising and coordinating 8 -15 solar panel installations(at various stages from just signed off to construction to post construction), continuously meeting/exceeding customer expectations. The commercial projects range in size from 100kW – 5MW and as such you will be working with many different stakeholders from commercial clients, sub-contractors and suppliers to internal clients: Todae Solar's accounts, sales, engineering and management staff.
• The candidate we are looking for has the unique ability to not only manage every step of the process in detail and to perfection, but is also able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. This requires excellence in organisational skill and thorough understanding of data management.
• Therefore, the right candidate must be highly organised, have a great eye for detail and advanced skills in project management. Previous experience in the PV industry will be highly regarded although training can be provided to the right applicant.

Responsibilities

• Arranging and managing multiple installations from post-sale to completion at one time (generally 8 -15 in various stages)
• Delivery of all projects on time and on budget
• Coordinating subcontractors across a number of disciplines
• Ensuring installations are correctly scoped and prioritised
• Ensuring a great customer experience

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Project management qualifications are not essential but will be looked upon favourably
• Strong IT Skills across MS Office especially MS Excel
• Solid experience in project management (preferably in solar or construction industries)
• Experience in managing multi complex projects simultaneously
