Position Overview
HCS Renewable Energy is currently seeking Solar Electricians in Cameron, SC.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels at various sites
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical devices
- Use precision, maintain and repair instrumentation
- Perform all other installation duties as needed according to applicable policies and procedures
- Completing mechanical installation such as racking, modules, DC & inverters
- Terminating combiner boxes
- Basic Wiring and pulling cable
- Ability to cut, bend and run conduit
Qualifications
- Electrician License NOT required but preferred
- Must have relevant work experience
- Previous experience installing photovoltaic systems preferred but not required
- Solar or Industrial experience a plus
- Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold)
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders and stairs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of lifting 50-75 lbs
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
