Position Overview
 
The Inside Sales Representative is a phone warrior, soliciting leads and orders via telephone and responding to incoming phone calls from health care practitioners. The Inside Sales Representative is critical in supporting the Inside Sales Consultant in achieving sales objectives by maintaining and growing regionally assigned accounts. In addition, the Inside Sales Representative provides internal support for day-to-day activities to members of the Field Sales team.

In this role you will:

  • Provide sales support to a specified team of Field Sales Consultants
  • Call on health care practitioner offices in order to solicit sales and generate leads 
  • Explain products, services, and pricing to customers
  • Field all incoming client questions
  • Identify and execute up-selling opportunities
  • Input and process orders
  • Cold call and pursue leads provided to schedule appointments for Field Sales Consultants
  • Adjust sales techniques to better target the needs and interests of specific practitioner types
  • Utilize Salesforce and SAP to maintain daily activity records, contacts, accounts, and orders
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or related degree and 2 years experience, or equivalent education and work experience required
  • Minimum 2 years demonstrated successful experience where soliciting leads and orders via telephone and responding to incoming phone calls was a requirement
  • Strong consultative selling skills required
  • Ability to build relationships over the phone required

Computer Skills:

  • Must be proficient with MS Office and have advanced Excel skills 
  • Must be proficient with Mac OS
  • Salesforce experience preferred, but not required
  • SAP experience preferred, but not required

Other Requirements:

  • We're currently working remotely due to county health orders but under normal circumstances the position will be expected to come to HQ in Watsonville, CA on a regular basis. Must be flexible.
