Position Overview

The Innovation and Sustainability Program Manager (ISPM) will partner with senior account leadership to manage innovation and sustainability projects across the Citi portfolio. The role is accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining effective PM processes resulting in successful rollout and execution of a variety of projects leading to efficient operations and sustainable solutions. 

This role will support a Global Occupier Services (GOS) client account based in New York, NY. The role is virtual and reports to the Chief Administrative Officer on the Citi Account. The ISPM will partner with account leadership and the client to ensure various projects are successfully executed and KPIs are achieved. 

Responsibilities

  • Applies program management practices to identify, pilot and implement innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Develops best practices to drive and create a best in class culture. 
  • Lead innovation council and collaborates with account leadership to drive Innovation & Sustainability (I&S) projects. 
  • Facilitate I&S project meetings and manage I&S projects from start to finish. 
  • Development of a benchmarking tool to analyze the all sites in the portfolio so opportunities can be identified, effectiveness of programs can be measured and successes reported and presented. 
  • Develop and refine in-house tools and systems for navigating various I&S frameworks mentioned above 
  • Work collaboratively with diverse project teams to ensure client satisfaction and that project goals are met. 
  • Development of the C&W account strategy to align with client and achieve related KPIs. 
  • Provides leadership to achieve the I&S vision in partnering with account management. 
  • Organizes and administers I&S programs for Cushman & Wakefield staff. 
  • Leverage network and other resources to research and identify innovative strategies, products & technologies. 
  • Communicates the I&S vision and performance to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Supports client’s needs or request related to I&S opportunities. 
  • Develop proposals and actions plans for innovative strategies, products and technologies. 
  • As necessary, manage the LEED, WELL and/or Fitwel documentation process. 
  • Ongoing monitoring, analysis, and monthly reporting of savings/reductions for all utilities to C&W and Citi management. 

Qualifications

Requirements and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience working in the real estate, sustainability and/or energy sectors. 
  • Experience within Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) is desired, but not required. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability effectively communicate with senior level clients. 
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively across different organizational functions. 
  • Experience working with clients and customers, both by phone and in person. 
  • Passion for innovation and sustainability. 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal guidance and oversight to find solutions. 
  • Willingness to learn, think creatively and adapt to varying client demands. 
  • Demonstrated leadership, influencing and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Involvement in industry such as IFMA, BOMA, CoreNet and USGBC a plus. 
  • Ability to use and leverage standard office systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, necessary to support the I&S Program. 
  • Candidates with Professional Certifications (PMP, LEED, etc.) are desirable but not required. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer. 
  • May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner.
  • Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work. 
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type. 
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, computer displays and physical inspection of properties and sites.
