Position Overview
Sain is seeking proven energy management professionals to work full-time on-site at Moffett Field.
This position performs a wide spectrum of energy engineering functions working on various energy management projects, and in support of our nationwide Resource Efficiency Manager (REM) program. The primary focus areas will be: energy / water / resource efficiency project feasibility analysis, measurement & verification of savings, alternative financing project facilitation, supply-side cost reduction, energy awareness promotion, O&M efficiency enhancement, and new technology utilization, especially involving renewable energy sources. This position reports to our Director of Operations.
Qualifications
- Qualification requirements are: U.S. citizenship, BSME/EE (or similar engineering degree), at least 2 years direct experience in energy management of existing facilities, and demonstrated ability to achieve great energy efficiency results autonomously.
- Qualifications considered to be extra valuable are: energy management experience involving federal (especially military) facilities, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification, LEED certified and/or Professional Engineering (PE) license.
