Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security Manager

Position Overview

The Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing SUEZ environment, health, safety, and security (EHSS), and industrial risk programs in the assigned region. This includes monitoring, verifying, and strengthening compliance with EHSS regulations and taking action where necessary, advising on safe work methods and practices, and facilitating incident analysis & reviews.

Incumbent is expected to work in coordination with operations team to ensure implementation of corporate EHSS policies & programs at the region and the project level and support compliance with safe drinking water act and clean water act. Field presence is an essential component of responsibilities for the purposes of oversight, technical support, and coordination of all EHSS program implementation.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff within the Division is required.
• CSP, CIH or the ability to obtain a Safety or Health certification is required.
• Proficient knowledge of MicroSoft Office and Outlook.
• Must be able to maintain specialized knowledge of federal and state EH&S regulations including OSHA, EPA, DEM, NFPA, etc and other industry consensus EH&S guidelines and best practices.
• Bachelor''s degree in safety, environmental health or related field is preferred.
• Some travel is required.

Required Experience:

• 5-7 years of related experience in EHSS practice.
• Work experience in heavy industry, public utility, construction, or de-centralized industry.
• NPDES and Safe Drinking Water Act Compliance.

Compensation

• Salary 85,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD
