Position Overview
Due to continued business growth, we are looking to hire a hands-on Project Manager to assume ultimate accountability for ensuring all contract deliverables are met within budgetary controls, and for managing a team of “Cleaning Technicians” for a top-tier high security account in the Reston/Chantilly area of Virginia.

Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong and trusting relationships with customers and direct reports and ensure frequent interactions. Solicit real-time feedback and respond to issues with a sense of urgency

- Supervise daily work activities to ensure work is completed on schedule and in accordance with Mister Kleen’s quality control standards; document inspections and work activities
- Perform new hire training and ongoing training and development activities for direct reports
- Evaluate team performance on an ongoing basis and motivate them to perform to their maximum ability; document disciplinary issues that arise
- Managing work schedules to ensure optimum coverage levels

- Coordinate various cleaning and specialty projects including staffing, budget, equipment, and work assignments
- Ensure strict compliance with established safety procedures and standards and recommend enhancements to safety training and safety programs
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure products meet U.S. Green Building Council’s “Sustainable Purchasing” standards
- Recommend best practices in products, supplies, methods and practices
- Monitor and review employee timekeeping for biweekly payroll processing
Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing a significant janitorial contract for a Class A building
- Prior experience managing large team of employees
- Superior knowledge of state of the art cleaning supplies, equipment, and cleaning techniques
- A proven track record of developing teams, including coaching and mentoring employees
- Work hour flexibility based on business needs
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) skills required
