Position Overview

Experienced with Solar, Solar Thermal, Wind, or Geothermal system design and installation? Everblue has contract openings for Solar PV Training and Solar Thermal Installation Instructors in multiple locations across the country, including Los Angeles, Boston, Charlotte, Miami, Portland, and New Brunswick.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience as an installer and/or trainer and experience with two or more solar installations. More experience is preferred.
• Completion of at least 40 hours of NABCEP-approved Advanced PV Installation training and/or completion of at least 40 hours of NABCEP-approved Advanced Solar Thermal Installation training.
• Instructors must be able to manage a classroom environment.
• Must have a laptop and projector prior to teaching your first class.
• Must have basic Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel.
• Knowledge of NABCEP solar training standards, national and local solar incentives, familiarity with financing programs including Power Purchasing Agreements and solar sales is preferred.
