Position Overview

As the Manager of Strategic Partnerships, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of key relationships for core areas of water stewardship and recyclability. You will leverage progress and partnerships and drive differentiation in the marketplace and enhanced impact.  

Responsibilities   

What you will do:  

  • Work closely with Sr. Manager of Environmental Impact to understand and support impact objectives over 5 year planning horizon 
  • Develop and maintain partner landscape assessment to ensure informed choice of the right partners, at the right time, including: NGOs, Governmental entities, and Industry & Membership Associations
  • Facilitate joint programs and campaigns with partners and appropriate internal teams including all project management tasks
  • Document and communicate partnership profiles and project storyboards to PR, Corporate Communications and Marketing teams
  • Maintain partnership metrics and dashboard 

Specifics to Core Impact Areas: 

  • Recyclability: Develop and maintain relationships that enable the company to meet business objectives and 2020 pod recyclability target 
  • Identify and culture unique relationships that tie product recyclability attributes to consumer awareness and activation for appropriate recycling behaviors
  • Manage day-to-day partnership activity so as to deliver on quarterly campaigns and one-time events 
  • Water Stewardship: Develop and maintain relationships that enable the company to meet business objectives and 2020 water balance target
  • Vermont water stewardship commitment: Establish and manage partnership portfolio in Vermont that will deliver on community and Keurig Water Balance commitments
  • North American Water Balance commitment: Manage leveraged partnership portfolio in North America that will deliver on Keurig Water Balance commitments and consumer activation
  • Identify and culture unique relationships that tie product water attributes to consumer awareness and activation for water stewardship

Qualifications 

What you must have: 

  • Minimum 5 years work experience supporting and/or leading cross-functional sustainability efforts in a public company; specific experience in the areas of product and water stewardship preferred
  • Direct experience in cause marketing or other consumer campaigns with dual objectives of social/environmental impact and consumer activation.
  • Experience managing partnerships across sectors (Company, NGO, Government)
  • Aptitude at navigating complex social structures and hierarchy in order to facilitate cross-function collaboration at all levels of the organization
  • Passionate about our mission and purpose.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills for overall project management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to be punctual, thrive in a fast-paced environment; anticipate needs and be proactive in resolving issues; and follow Keurig policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and to work fairly autonomously
  • Ability and enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and knowledge
