~ EarthBalance is an ecosystem restoration and environmental consulting company based in Florida. Working throughout the southeastern United States and the Caribbean, our teams of environmental scientists and trained technicians are experts in designing, constructing, restoring, and managing upland and wetland habitats. ~
Specifically we:
- Remove invasive or unwanted vegetation
- Grow and install native plant species
- Operate three mitigation banks in Florida
- Consult with land managers and regulatory agencies to obtain approvals or permits

Position Overview
The Ecosystem Restoration Project Manager is responsible for overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects
- Provide direction and support to Assistant Project Managers, crew, or other staff that may be assigned to the project team
- Prepare proposals and coordinate with administration for the submittal of bid packages
- Responsible for project execution including project planning, status, schedule, budget, and quality control
- Responsible for effective and timely communication with Division Manager when needed on difficult projects or those that are over budget
- Review daily progress reports and check in as necessary with onsite project leader to successfully complete projects
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop relationships with new clients for new business
- Conduct quality control and safety inspections on projects
- Enhance work environment by setting an example of strong work ethic and dedication to development of junior staff
- Seek ways to add value to projects by finding more efficient ways to complete them
- Maintain effective communication with Division Manager and clients
- Accountable and responsible for all aspects of the project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental restoration, land management, or similar field
- Applicator License in Core and Natural Areas (others as necessary)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Valid Florida driver's license and a clean driving record
- Maintain membership in other related associations as assigned (FLEPPC, FAEP, etc.)
- Must be an excellent communicator and be pro-active in addressing and resolving problems
- Requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills, organization skills, excellent decision-making, leadership, delegation, team work, negotiation, conflict management, adaptability, and stress tolerance
- Must have excellent written communication skills
