Position Overview

The Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District is seeking candidates for the postion of Stewardship Technician. There are two vacancies, in Santa Rosa CA. 

Responsibilities 

• This entry-level position is assigned a wide variety of basic research, GPS and other data gathering, graphics, and land monitoring activities.
• Duties will primarily include monitoring properties protected by conservation easements, which involves researching properties, conducting site visits, and preparing maps and reports.
• Duties may also include completion of routine land management tasks on District-owned properties.

Qualifications 

• A key component to success in this position is the ability to communicate clearly with a variety of landowners, partners, and the general public.

Compensation: $4,116.84 - $5,002.13 monthly.
