Position Overview

Goodness Greeness is one of the largest organic produce suppliers in the Midwest. From organic farm, to the grocery store shelf, Goodness Greeness serves some of the best, well-known stores and outlets in North America.

Due to the phenomenal growth of organic produce, which has been called "the most important food movement in the last 100 years," there is almost unlimited growth potential in the industry.

In order to take advantage of this growth, Goodness Greeness is seeking new sales representatives to work with current customers as well as prospect new accounts. 

Qualifications  

Position requirements: 

  • Strong knowledge of all produce: fruits, vegetables, tropical items.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills.
  • Ability to be a team player who can interact with internal departments (purchasing, warehouse, etc.) to provide excellent customer support and service. This can also include occasional customer visits and customer support at store level.
  • Ability to operate independently while achieving personal activity and sales goals.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to creatively address and solve issues, problems, or challenges.
  • Ability to sell and translate "value" not just price over the phone.
  • Ability to call 20 + customers and prospects per day and sell "special" buys and other produce items we have available. Also be able to receive in-coming calls from customers who are placing orders.
  • Regular reporting of status of projects and overall progress towards goals.
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred experience in a Produce Department at the store level.
