Additional Information

A word on our hiring process:

We search for new hires as rigorously as we search for new customers. We care about who we work with on a day-to-day basis. We take the hiring process seriously and do not leave it to chance. Every employee in the team actively advertises the position in his or her social network; we use professional recruiters as well as online job boards.

When we come across a candidate that looks like a good fit we request the first availability to schedule a 30 minute introductory call with the hiring manager. We believe the first screen must be with the hiring manager, not HR or a junior staff. If the introductory call goes well, you will be invited for an in-person interview to meet with the hiring manager and some key team members.

This interview will be part interpersonal and part expertise based. After the in-person interview, the team will confer and decide if we should move to the next stage of the interview process.

The next stage includes a test, tailored to each position and ranging from programming tests for technical roles to contract reviews for project management roles. If the results of the tests are satisfactory, you will be invited to meet with the managing partners of TerraVerde.

This interview will be mostly interpersonal questions, though you should be ready to showcase your expertise. After the interview with the partners, you will be presented with a dinner invitation along with a template to plan out your next 5 years at TerraVerde. We will go over the plan with you at dinner to get a better sense of what you want to do with your career.

We want to know where you'd like to go in your career so we can be sure we are able to provide you with what you need to accomplish your goals and be happy! We will make the formal offer shortly after the dinner and hope that you are the next member to board the TerraVerde bus!
