Position Overview
We currently seek a motivated, growth-minded individual to lead business development and project delivery efforts for drinking water projects in our Midwest Operating Group. This individual would also support national water business development and project delivery. This is a career changing opportunity for an individual with ambition and drive to help grow a water practice and accelerate their career.
Responsibilities
- This individual will be responsible for working with staff on existing projects to assure high quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Oversee and direct projects for distribution system modeling, distribution system design, water treatment plant design, water treatment studies, and water master planning.
- Develop business with existing clients, identify potential new clients as well as strategically participate in professional organizations at the national and local levels.
Qualifications
- The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in securing and the delivery of water projects.
- Preferred experience would include planning, studies and designs for water supply, treatment, transmission, storage and distribution facilities.
- Knowledge of hydraulic modeling and regulatory issues is required. Knowledge of surface water and groundwater treatment technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery including the management of client expectations, technical team and financial aspects of projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Masters degree is preferred.
- A current professional engineer license is required with the ability to obtain registration in Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and Oklahoma.
