Description
We produce high quality biodiesel from recycled cooking oil that we collect from hundreds of restaurants throughout the Bay Area. We sell our sustainable fuel to truck fleets, bus companies, and anyone who drives a diesel vehicle. We're growing rapidly, as the demand for diesel fuel grows and the price of traditional petroleum-based fuel continues to rise.
Position Overview:
We are looking for someone to manage all aspects of recycled oil collections for biodiesel manufacturing. Formal job description is below.
The Used Cooking Oil (UCO) Dispatch Supervisor is a full-time position with management responsibilities over all aspects of UCO collections, customer service, and associated inventory control. This position will support sales representatives, customers, and biodiesel production team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the UCO collection team.
- Build, manage, and maintain work schedules for optimizing operation metrics while maintaining strict customer service performance records.
- Optimize sequencing and selection of daily collection routes; create and distribute updated route sheets for drivers to seamlessly complete objectives.
- Collect, track, and report operational information, records, and receipts.
- Track customer asset needs and manage asset inventory.
- Collect and maintain operational results for daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Delegate fieldwork as needed.
- Act as a liaison with the sales team to quickly and efficiently handle customer service issues such as delivering and removing tanks, performing site cleanup, and addressing service calls.
- Become an expert in the company's database created with FileMaker Pro. Develop data entry, reporting, and analytical skills to analyze operations and make sound decisions.
Qualifications:

- Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding operational goals.
- Have previous experience managing fleets (strongly preferred).
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be proficient in MS Office with intermediate+ level of expertise in Excel. Must be able to analyze, format, and present data using tables, formulas, pivot tables and other Excel tools.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and deal effectively with a variety of personality types both internally and externally.
- Have excellent organizational skills.
- Have the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic industry.
- Be able to multitask and solve problems.
- Have the ability to manage and analyze sensitive information.
- Have the flexibility to work necessary hours as dictated by the needs of the business.
- Have previous experience managing teams of people to achieve organizational goals.
