Position Overview:

thinkTHIN is seeking to fill the Business Development Manager-Ecommerce position and seeks candiates with 10 yeras of corporate experience.  

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall execution of the ecommerce sales plan
  • Work directly with key online retailers to grow distribution, increase channel revenue
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to buyers
  • Understand and utilize sales data from several sources to aide in growing sales and monitor performance
  • Understand and utilized key customer on-line vendor portal(s)
  • Follow published sales spending guidelines and procedures
  • Follow published thinkThin employee procedures and guidelines
  • Attend sales meetings to understand company initiatives
  • This position requires employees to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, customers and the public; work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
  • Complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are competing requirement and assignments 

Qualifications: 

  • Must have at least ten (10) years of recent ($100M+) corporate Ecommerce experience
  • BS Degree in Business Ecommerce or equivalent certificate is preferred
  • Experience with a Consumer Product/Package company a plus
  • Food industry experience is a must
  • Must possess extraordinary organizational skills
  • Must be extremely accurate and detail oriented in performing tasks and cross-checking work
  • Possess outstanding business and professional manner with strong customer service focus
  • Possess extraordinary professional verbal and written interpersonal communication skills with the ability to listen, excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and customers
  • Must have superior reasoning, good common sense and sound judgment
  • Possess excellent Microsoft Office skills; have demonstrated excellent working computer skills with basis business software such as Excel spreadsheets, WORD document, and Outlook email and Calendar
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines with the ability to handle pressure skillfully
  • Must be able to safely lift, move, push, pull and carry product up to 50 pounds
  • Must be self-motivated and pro-active - Possess a positive and proactive attitude, initiative and drive with an ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic with the ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
