Position Overview:

The position will be responsible for providing solutions in the area of MFGPRO functionality, ensure successful delivery, individually participate and contributes on any issues that may affect application functionality. Skill with MFG PRO,QAD,EMC, Veritas is sought.

 Responsibilities: 

• Good understanding of all modules of MFG/Pro.
• Should have extensive work experience on support projects.
• Analysis, design and development of applications using MFG/Pro and PTotal Experience 8 yrs.rogress.
• Interact with business customers for basic new requirements and issue analysis.
• Regularly monitor all logged issues. Plan and prioritize workload among team members.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues in a large production environment.
• Assist in the development of work processes to ensure the proper and successful use of the applications.
• Write unit and system test plans/specifications and perform testing.
• Code review to ensure conformance to quality standards and specifications.
• Interact with project teams to ensure a smooth and successful transition to support after the deployment of new applications or new major versions and adhere to all stated company policies and processes.
• Project status reporting and metrics.

• Knowledge of QAD applications like EDI will be added advantage.
• Demonstrates key competencies at the desired levels as defined in the framework for this position.
• MFGPRO Functional, Progress 4GL.
• Operational knowledge of database backup / replication softwares like EMC, Veritas etc is a plus.
• Total experience required is 8 years.
