Position Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional person whose experience and skills have prepped them to run the operations of our growing company. This position navigates through a rapidly changing landscape. The Operations Manager needs to be able to adapt to this fast pace while setting a tone for a fun and grounded environment.
Responsibilities
This person will be incharge of running all aspects of operations including and not limited to:
- Systems improvement and implementation
- Purchasing
- Inventory control
- Logistics
- Fulfillment
- Order processing
- Daily office tasks
- Customer service
- Employee management
- Various projects & more
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- Self-Motivation
- Positive attitude with ability to work hard, adapt easily to changes and unexpected events, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and pay attention to details
- Leadership qualities; to know how to follow instructions, how to take initiative and how to problem solve
- Team player mentality
- Proficient computer skills - confident on a Mac, skilled in Microsoft Office programs, cloud CRM systems, word press, various web based software systems
- Experience in inventory, production, order processing and customer service
- Experience, knowledge and interest in natural products and/or outdoor industry
- Experience in light accounting/bookkeeping with understanding of financial reporting
- Ability to lift and move 60 pounds
- Proficient grammar, writing and verbal skills
- Commitment to contributing to a fun and productive work environment
