Position Overview:
Rapidly growing renewable energy developer needs to fill strategic operations role to manage construction of large portfolio of solar projects over the next 24 months for commercial and industrial clients.
Successful candidates should have at least 5 years of PV solar construction / operations management experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in East Coast market with at least 50MW of installed projects. Business model is to manage EPC / vendor relationships in multiple states and oversee construction of project portfolio. Long-term goal is to gradually build up in-house EPC capabilities and team.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be experienced in project management with strong negotiation capabilities and a clear understanding of the cost structure of solar projects. Candidate will be expected to deliver a wide variety of commercial and utility scale solar projects spanning different geographical regions on time and within budget. The corporate culture is entrepreneurial, and ideal candidates will be self-starters that have a clear vision on how to build an EPC division.
Special consideration will be given to candidates that have meaningful overseas experience, and foreign language skills are a plus. Minimum education requirement is an undergraduate degree, preference for engineering. Medium to heavy travel required.
