Columbia River PUD is a progressive, financially sound rural utility with a well maintained electrical system and excellent benefits. The utility serves 18,560 customers with state of the art technology including TWACS, SCADA, and GIS systems. Located along the Columbia River 45 minutes north of Portland, our community offers good schools, beautiful countryside, and exceptional outdoor recreation. 

Position Overview:

Provide outstanding customer service to PUD customers by participating in the design, implementation, and delivery of the  PUD's various residential energy efficiency, demand management, and renewable energy programs. Continuously identify and pursue project prospects and leads; ensure that all projects meet program requirements; relentlessly manage workload to provide accurate, prompt, and effective action on deliverables and responsibilities; and follow PUD policies and safety rules.

Qualifications: 

Associate's degree in Energy Management or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or other energy related field; or knowledge normally acquired through a 4 year degree in energy, engineering, or other related field; or 6 years of combined relevant education and experience in customer service, marketing, sales, and energy related positions.

Must be skilled in the use of computers and relevant software including report writing, energy analysis and modeling, spreadsheet, database and word processing applications utilizing data collected from engineering reports, energy use monitoring, testing and schedules of equipment operations.

Must demonstrate strong project management skills and have the ability to work cooperatively with a multi-disciplinary staff to develop and implement work plans, accomplish department goals, and manage the work of contractors. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and various audiences. Must demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills to generate recommendations to customers. 

Compensation: $24.98 - $35.61 per hour depending on experience
