Position Overview:
We seek a dedicated individual to oversee the day to day operation of 408 TPD Energy from Waste facility with mass burn technology. The individual will establish and implement operating procedures, training programs, operations schedules and production reports.
In addition, this individual will directly supervise shift supervisors, including performance evaluations, maintaining inventory of operating supplies, monitoring and effectiveness of preventative maintenance procedures, handling staffing, material and service budget issues, implementing operator training and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment.
The candidate will also assist in maintenance planning and implementation and will be greatly involved in the facilities safety programs.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in operations/maintenance of a steam/electric generating facility. While an engineering degree is desired, hands on operating experience and utility training will be acceptable. Ma. Second Class Stationary Engineers License is required.
