Position Overview:

Sungevity's Relationship Marketing team is responsible for creating strategic partnerships and channel initiatives that drive efficient customer acquisition. The Manager Relationship Marketing will be focused on program development and flawless execution required to deliver sales targets.  This role will build upon our flagship non-profit marketing programs, enhancing campaign development and building creative new platforms.

This is a tremendous opportunity to be the driver of a significant portion of Sungevity's business.  This role reports to the Director, Relationship Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director Relationship Marketing with the planning and development of partner marketing campaigns
  • Lead program execution, coordinating deliverables with other departments
  • Coordinate execution with appropriate teams at partner organization
  • General account management
  • Orient new partners to Sungevity.org platform and our turnkey tools/resources
  • Tracking of program performance, reporting to partners and delivery of insights to inform future program development
  • Manage network wide communications plan
  • Create and execute new strategies to maintain network engagement
  • Establish and maintain an Insane Partner Experience

Qualifications: 

Key Competencies:

  • Superb interpersonal skills to represent the Sungevity brand, quickly forge strong relationships with potential partners, and build lasting friendships between organizations
  • Keen understanding of marketing planning, campaign development and pacing
  • Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative and able to work with other departments to deliver results
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to uncover insights in data; you must be able to take unstructured data, analyze it, and communicate findings and recommendations from it
  • Must be able to uncover the strategic sweet spot between 2 organizations and structure a winning partnership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. MBA preferred
  • 7+ years marketing communications, account planning and/or partnership marketing
  • Well versed in traditional and online marketing tactics
  • Account management experience with demonstrated ability to grow revenues
  • Evidence of establishing relationships and leveraging them, resulting in growing activity and revenue levels (> $1M annually preferred)
  • Experience executing non-profit and/or for-profit affinity campaigns
  • Project management experience and proven ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Non-profit experience a plus
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, high growth start up environment.
