Position Overview:
Design build firm seeks a highly motivated and ambitious individual with a passion for construction detailing using Revit Architecture 2013 and who seeks to develop new building information modeling skills and construction document experience for custom architectural projects in Los Angeles and throughout the nation.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate must be fully capable of understanding both large and small scale building component relationships and their inherit interconnectivity both digitally and in the physical world.
- Candidate must be aware of the term level of detail and how it relates to BIM.
- Candidate will work closely with project manager's digital red line markups for commercial, ecclesiastical and residential projects and be expected to perform with a high level of detail and precision.

Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year experience using Revit in construction documents on both live-model details and drafted view details.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in retail or high end residential required.
- Excellent communication
- Commitment to the highest level of professional and personal excellence.
- Custom parametric family modeling aptitude
- Parametric scheduling aptitude
- Construction documents aptitude
- Ability to conceptualize and draft details quickly
- Autodesk Revit certification a plus
- Architectural degree a plus
- Adobe Premiere / After Effects / 3d Max rendering / Dreamweaver experience a plus
- Residential Type V construction knowledge a plus.
- Construction experience a plus

Schedule:
- Ideal candidate could work 20-30hrs/week from Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm
- Position is available immediately.
- Our life outside of architecture is just as important as our life within the studio and thus we work 8 hour days with the occasionally late nights and/or weekends. We strive to create a sustainable work environment and believe in building well-balanced individuals.
