Description

GRB Environmental Services, Inc. is an Environmental Consulting company established in 1985. The company has grown to 70 FTE's and 182 contract employees. GRB is headquartered in Manhattan, NY.

GRB is pursuing a 5-year contract with the Air Force Center of Environment and Engineering to provide full range of Advisory and Assistance Services to the Air National Guard Environmental Restoration Branch (NGB/A7OR) located at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. AFCEE requires the contractor to provide program and project-level Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) in support of NGB/A7OR's Environmental Restoration Program (ERP). The contractor shall perform tasks that require knowledge of federal, state, and/or local regulations and statutes, as well as DoD, Air Force and ANG regulations, business practices, and documentation. The contractor shall provide technical and managerial support in identifying and implementing program execution strategies and identifying avenues for accelerating site closures within fiscal and technological constraints. GRB is looking for a Senior Environmental or Civil Engineer, Senior Hydrogeologist, and an Environmental or Civil Engineer. Information on each position is provided below.

Position Overview:

Senior Environmental/Civil Engineer/Project Manager:

The Senior Environmental/Civil Engineer will be the on-site Project Manager and senior technical lead. In this position, the candidate shall support ANG programs in the areas of the Installation Restoration Program (IRP), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action Process, the MMRP, and the Compliance Restoration Program (CRP). Additionally, the Senior Engineer/Project Manager will assist in performing studies and analyses; review documents and drawings, direct contaminant fate and transport and groundwater flow modeling; perform cost, risk and feasibility analyses; prepare required documentation to include technical reports or specialized graphics; assist in and present technology demonstrations, and facilitate technical workshops and partnering meetings.

The ideal candiate will have a minimum of 10 years experience, be a Registered Professional Engineer, hold an MS, and would have in-depth knowledge of the following Air Force related databases: RACER, EESOH-MIS, ERPIMS, KBCRS, as well as database design and management.

Senior Hydrogeologist:

A major technical role is the need for a Senior Hydrogeologist to analyze, evaluate, model, and report on groundwater and soil contamination issues. In this position, the candidate shall support ANG programs in the areas of the Installation Restoration Program (IRP), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action Process, the MMRP, and the Compliance Restoration Program (CRP). Additionally, the Senior Hydrogeologist will assist in performing studies and analyses; review documents and drawings, perform contaminant fate and transport and groundwater flow modeling; perform cost, risk and feasibility analyses; prepare required documentation to include technical reports or specialized graphics; assist in and present technology demonstrations, and facilitate technical workshops and partnering meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience, MS, and would have in-depth knowledge of the following Air Force related databases: RACER, EESOH-MIS, ERPIMS, KBCRS, as well as database design and management. Professional geological license is a plus.

Environmental/Civil Engineer:

The Environmental/Civil Engineer will assist the Senior Engineer and Senior Hydrogeologist in their work In this position, the candidate shall support ANG programs in the areas of the Installation Restoration Program (IRP), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action Process, the MMRP, and the Compliance Restoration Program (CRP). Additionally, the Engineer will assist in performing studies and analyses; review documents and drawings, direct contaminant fate and transport and groundwater flow modeling; perform cost, risk and feasibility analyses; prepare required documentation to include technical reports or specialized graphics; assist in and present technology demonstrations, and facilitate technical workshops and partnering meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience, hold a BS or MS, and would have in-depth knowledge of the following Air Force related databases: RACER, EESOH-MIS, ERPIMS, KBCRS, as well as database design and management. Database management and GIS capabilities is a strong plus.

The work will be performed at Andrews Air Force Base.
