Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and technology-savvy marketing team member to join our team. Our company fulfills a unique niche in the promotional products industry by offering sweatshop-free and eco-friendly merchandise. Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for creation, planning and implementation of a marketing strategy to promote Ethix Ventures, with a heavy emphasis on online sales. The ideal is to highlight Ethix Ventures' offerings to organizations interested in making a difference through their purchasing power. Daily responsibilities vary but frequently include:

• Utilizing inbound marketing software to create inbound marketing campaigns and special offers with emails, landing pages, and calls to action
• Measuring marketing results and developing innovative strategies to improve website traffic
• Creating social media excitement through various networks and types of content
• Blogging about social justice and environmental movements, fair trade, new products, and interviews with movement leaders
• Creation and maintenance of the content on the Ethix Merch website, including adding new products and highlighting special features
• Keeping a pulse on movement news through relationships, reading blogs, and attending conferences
• Working with paid advertising like Facebook ads and Google Adwords
• Supporting the sales function through lead generation, responding to inquiries, creating price quotes, creating artwork mockups, and communicating through to close

Qualifications:

A successful candidate for this position will have an understanding of and interest in the ethical marketplace and social movements, especially custom made union label products.

The ideal applicant will have:

• Strong writing ability, especially with SEO blogging
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Corel Draw, Zoho, and HubSpot
• Understanding of Drupal and ability to learn new computer programs
• Social media networking, photo, and video experience
• Customer service and sales experience in a small business
