Wind Turbine Technician

Responsibilities:

• Safe operation, maintenance and repair of wind turbine generators
• Troubleshoot complicated mechanical and electrical problems on variable ptich, variables speed turbines
• Assist in all areas of site operations with minimal supervision, as directed by manager
• Perform all mechanical and electrical component maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions
• Document all work performed using computer-based software
• Work to the expectations of Noble's service responsibilities and constantly improve the operational performance

Supervisor: Lead Technician or Plant Leader

Qualifications:

• Associates technical/electronic degree OR minimum 3 years of work experience in electrical/electronic repair industry
• Must have the ability to work at elevated spaces and be able to climb a 300 foot tower ladder on a daily basis
• Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Strong written, verbal, or problem solving skills
• Be willing to travel to other sites to solve problems and/or assist with maintenance
• The ability to use a PC is a must
• Ability and willingness to be on call and work a reasonable amount of overtime
