Eltek Valere develops, manufactures and markets energy systems for telecom, industrial applications, renewable (solar inverters) and E-Mobility, typically providing power conversion, voltage adjustment of input power to specific output requirements, and backup power, as well as monitoring and control systems.
Position Overview:
Eltek Valere currently has a job opening located in Northern California for a Regional Sales Manager for our Renewable product line. The main responsibility for this position will be to focus on grid connected PV systems in the Western United States.
Responsibilities:
Additional job responsibilities include:
- Profile and influence the top 100 residential installers, predominantly located in California and Arizona, to adopt the Eltek Valere Theia HE-t as the string inverter of choice for residential and small commercial installations. This will be accomplished through disciplined sales strategies including extensive face to face interaction.
- Manage the Company's Regional Distributors throughout the Western region and aid in the Company's demand creation programs for distribution. This will be accomplished by supporting regular formal or informal joint training sessions with Distributors, assisting installers in identifying a suitable Distributor, and by regularly reporting market information to the Company.
- Provide sales support to the Sales Director for Renewable - Americas with National Distributors and OEMs in the context of a complex sale, identifying influences and roles within the account as well as managing the sales cycle.
- Coordinate and provide standard product quotations for customers within the region and provide sales related reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline or equivalent. Solid understanding of the electrical and civil engineering issues present in PV residential and commercial installations, the applicable regulatory framework, and the administrative details pertaining to permits, inspection and commissioning requirements is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or product management of electrical or industrial power equipment. Proven sales, relationship building, and order closing skills are required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience selling solar components to large installers to include ability to demonstrate and sell standard string inverters for use in residential and small commercial applications.
- Demonstrated ability to train large and small installers in the installation and commissioning of PV systems using string EV inverters.
- Position requires ability to travel 50% of the time.
