Apprentice, Chicken Processor

Smith Meadows is a livestock farm where sustainable, chemical free practices are employed to raise and butcher animals in a humane and healthy way.   

Position Overview: 

Help process chickens on a pasture based, organic farm with a crew of 6 other experienced people.  We are looking for help on the following dates with some flexibility and potential for more hours on the farm working on other projects.

8am-5pm on the following dates

• June 23, 2011
• July 21 and 28, 2011
• August 18 and 25, 2011
• September 22 and 29, 2011
• October 20 and 27, 2011
• November 17, 2011 

Compensation: The pay is $10/hr.
