WES's portfolio of services includes marketing and engineering, program management and implementation of energy efficiency and water conservation programs and development and implementation of information systems for the energy industry. WES's expertise also covers hardware retrofits, commissioning and retro-commissioning, demonstrations of new technologies, energy efficiency education/outreach, sustainability strategy and local government partnerships.

Willdan Energy Solutions (WES) is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support our energy efficiency program operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking calls from current and prospective customers.
  • Explaining program benefits, eligibility and participation requirements.
  • Tracking and proactive follow up on customer inquiries and leads.
  • Reporting and tracking of customer complaints.
  • Other tasks as needed.

Qualifications: 

Requirements include:

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel)
  • Strong customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to calmly, empathetically and effectively address customer requests or concerns; experience addressing and resolving customer service complaints; experience tracking and following up on customer leads and requests.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Constant interest in and willingness to support broader program-wide objectives, including: synthesizing and reporting customer feedback to Program Manager(s); proposing new solutions to achieve objectives; exercising independence and creativity in achieving customer service objectives without overpromising.
  • Experience in energy, construction, or engineering fields a plus.

Compensation: $21-$25/hr, depending on experience.
