Position Overview: 

The Sustainability Software Sales Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the sales efforts across our portfolio of products.  This individual will identify the needs of the target industry and work with all facets of PE Five Winds resources to develop and deliver sustainability solutions that meet the needs of the marketplace. This is a quota carrying position and will require some travel (approx 30%-50%).

Responsibilities:

Sales Lead, Account Manager:

The selected individual will perform the following functions:

  • Initiate, generate, and close sales opportunities to exceed company revenue quotas.
  • Develop and implement a "go to market" strategy, in conjunction with our internal marketing team.
  • Create individual and targeted campaigns, that marketing will execute, that drive pipeline, bookings and quota attainment.
  • Work with Sector Leaders to identify opportunities and to execute on their leads for software solutions within their projects
  • Work within a team and have a willingness to contribute to the overall team's success in a fast paced environment.
  • Actively participate and provide input and feedback during sales calls and company related activities to maximize sales team success and effectiveness.
  • Accurately forecast business on a weekly basis to management.
  • Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow pipeline.
  • Provide Product Managers with prospect and customer feedback on PE Five Winds products and services to support their ongoing growth and development to meet and exceed market requirements.
  • Continuously strive to improve sales effectiveness and business acumen.

Qualifications: 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Existing and active contact base of senior level contacts within medium and large size enterprises
  • 5+ years sales experience
  • Extensive experience in software sales to medium and large corporate accounts
  • Knowledge of Sustainability issues and how they influence and impact corporate business models.
  • Personal connection to sustainability and its importance within business and society
  • Successful achievement of sales quotas
  • Ability to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts and partners.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with management teams and C-level decision makers.
  • Ability to craft a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client discussions.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g. salesforce.com) preferred
