We are The Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation (WECC) - a national leader in energy efficiency and renewable energy services.
Position Overview:
Our growing organization has an immediate need for an Energy Program Engineer. The Energy Program Engineer is responsible for
managing the delivery of technical review and support services in support of utility sponsored commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs managed by WECC.
Responsibilities:
Services will primarily involve:
- conducting engineering analysis of energy efficiency improvement projects proposed by end-use customers and trade allies to determine their feasibility and quantify anticipated energy savings
- providing advice and assistance to program staff and end-use customers in specifying appropriate technologies for energy efficiency projects.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a master's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) and 3-5 years experience in the following: energy engineering, consultative engineering working with end use customers, subcontractor management. Excellent problem solving and communication skills are a must.
