Based in Lander Wyoming, Salt Lake City Utah, and Victor Idaho, at the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Creative Energies has been engineering and installing renewable energy systems since 2000. We have clients throughout the West and have installed systems from Montana to Antarctica. We believe that renewable energy offers an environmentally preferable choice to conventional energy sources, and through our education and guidance, our clients discover more responsible ways to power or heat their homes, businesses, ranches and recreational structures.

Creative Energies plays an active role in renewable energy advocacy and education throughout its area of operation. In addition to presenting at public fairs and professional conferences, we teach introductory renewable energy classes through various organizations and contribute to the American Solar Energy Society, Solar Energy International and the American Wind Energy Association. We support the efforts of One Percent for the Planet and One Percent for the Tetons by donating one percent of our gross sales to environmental causes.

Position Overview:

Responsible for acquiring new customers in consultation with design and installation teams. Responsible for sales in our Wyoming region. Will independently pursue sales leads, develop relationships and close sales. Will steward customer relationships from first contact through to completed project. Will work to elevate Creative Energies' profile by participating in fairs and conferences or speaking with the media.

Responsibilities:

Sales, Wyoming region (75% of Time):

  • Respond to initial phone, email and in-person customer inquiries.
  • Meet with prospective customers, generally at the project site
  • Develop proposals to meet customer's requirements
  • Prepare and submit proposals for competitively bid projects
  • Attend trade shows and fairs. Represent Creative Energies in public events.
  • Work with systems engineers to define systems for new customers
  • Pass all required customer and system information to Operations Manager once sale is complete
  • Conduct post-installation customer contact
  • Prepare and present project manual, conduct owner training

Technical consultation (12% of Time):

  • With support of Systems Designer, provides consulting services to clients including architects, engineers and builders.

Public Relations (10% of Time):

  • Represent the Company at important public events.
  • Elevate company profile in local and statewide media
  • Teach at public events
  • advocate publicly for renewable energy

Professional Development (3% of time):

Participate in 1 or 2 training events per year focused on renewable energy technologies and installation practices. Examples include Solar Power International conference and trainings offered by equipment manufacturers and distributers.
