Description

The National Forest Foundation brings people together to restore and enhance our National Forests and Grasslands. As the nonprofit partner of the U.S. Forest Service, we engage America in community-based and national programs that promote the health and public enjoyment of the National Forest System. We also administer private gifts of funds and land for the benefit of the National Forests.

Position Overview:

A national conservation organization seeks a Director, Colorado Program. The position develops projects, builds partnerships and works with local communities, nonprofits and Forest Service in Colorado.

Qualifications:

Understanding of intermountain natural resource issues; facilitation skills; ability to work with diverse constituents; knowledge of Forest Service systems; Master's degree (or equivalent) in natural resource-related field and 10 years of experience in conservation programs and collaborative conservation are essential. The position is to be located in Colorado.

Compensation: Excellent compensation package.
