Our Energy Network Operations Center (EnerNOC) supports these applications across thousands of C&I customer sites throughout the world. Using our C&I customers' energy usage flexibility, we make capacity, energy, ancillary services, and carbon products available to grid operators and our more than 100 utility customers on demand as a cost-effective alternative to traditional power generation, transmission, and distribution.

Position Overview:

Looking for a fulfilling role where you can utilize your expert sales skills to make a positive impact? We are looking for successful, entrepreneurial and driven Business Development Specialists to join our phenomenally talented and growing sales teams in nationwide.  Leveraging your enterprise software and energy expertise, you will become specialized in EnerNOC's CarbonSMART application.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Specialist focusing on CarbonSMART, you will engage customers in our our full suite of energy management solutions from your home office or one of EnerNOC's offices centered in major markets in the US. Your primary focus will be on driving penetration of EnerNOC's CarbonSMART application for a wide variety of existing and new EnerNOC customers, generating Software as a Service (SaaS) revenues and achieving aggressive annual sales plans.

Qualifications:

You will rely heavily on your experience utilizing solution selling and working with early stage enterprise software concepts with C&I customers. Your experience and comfort in rapidly evolving and early stage markets will be crucial to your success. As the Carbon Management market shifts to a focus on energy management, your enthusiasm and demonstrated ability to work with energy management concepts, backed with EnerNOC's credentials and footprint, will connect you with key decision makers and enable you to fundamentally advance their carbon and energy management agendas.  

Your ability to quickly establish credibility with customers, partners, suppliers, market influencers, upper management, and your fellow salespeople will also be key to your success. Your background running the entire sales cycle - from lead generation through to contract signing - will be critical in this exciting role.
