Description

General Biodiesel products and services measurably lower the carbon footprint of its GreenPartners and fuel RCB100 customers. By recycling used cooking oil, producing biodiesel locally, and selling to local fleets, our fuel is shipped very little when compared to the thousands of miles most petroleum travels.

Position Overview: 

We are currently hiring for the following sales territories: 1) Seattle, WA; 2) Vancouver, WA; 3) Pierce County, WA; and 4) Whatcom County, WA.

Your mission will be to contact local restaurants, restaurant chains, and businesses that create used cooking oil waste streams, tell them our story, and contract with them for us to fulfill their used cooking oil collection needs.  For those sales professionals that display all of the required characteristics, AND meet all benchmarks and sales goals, there may be an opportunity to move into a full time salary + commission position at the end of the introductory period.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • Must be high energy and display a willingness to learn.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must provide own transportation.
  • Must have proof of car insurance.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (mileage expense is reimbursed).
  • Must be able to attend every training session (in person) and meeting (in person or call in) held at our meeting facilities.
  • Develop and maintain close relations with local business community in order to fulfill clients' needs more effectively.
  • Deepen existing client relationships and generate incremental volume collected each month.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people.
  • Professional appearance and persona.
  • Work needed hours, especially under tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to handle pressure well.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Account Executive experience.
  • Knowledge of food service industry.
  • Experience in a sales-driven environment.

Compensation: Salary/Wage is depending on experience plus benefits. Full time; work schedule to be discussed at the interview.
