Architect

William Green & Associates, an architectural and design firm based in Manhattan, is seeking highly motivated architect with excellent interpersonal skills. The firm's current projects range from residential projects (new construction and renovation) to commercial renovation projects in Manhattan and within the Tri-State region.

Responsibilities:

• Design residential and commercial projects
• Involvement in all phases of the design/construction process
• Computer modeling and rendering
• Construction document preparation
• Site visits and construction administration

Qualifications:

• Residential and commercial construction documentation and specification writing
• Professional degree (B.Arch or M. Arch)
• 4 - 7 years experience with at least 3 years of NYC experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio Max and other rendering software
• Interest in sustainable design
• Registered architect in the State of New York or in the process of completing the licensing examination for licensure in the State of New York

Candidate must demonstrate aptitude and passion for both design and production. Ideal candidates will also possess strong oral and written communication skills, excellent graphic abilities, and knowledge of modern office procedures and methods. Computer savvy is a must. The ability to establish priorities, work independently, and accomplish objectives is extremely important as well as a willingness to assist in all of the activities of a fast-paced office. LEED accreditation is a plus. This is a leadership position.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and based out of the NYC metropolitan area.

Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
