EcoMedia, a CBS Corporation (CBS) company, seeks individuals with a strong interest in issues such as sustainability, public policy, clean energy, climate change, government affairs, public affairs and corporate social responsibility (CSR) to assist with both internal and external environmental project management for CBS.
This a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a first-of-its kind business model, in the growing field of corporate sustainability directly related to climate change.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated interest in public affairs, government affairs and/or sustainability.
Responsibilities:
Intern will have exposure with the following duties:
- Update and maintain sales prospect database
- Research sales prospect contacts and sustainability initiatives
- Support production and distribution of sales and marketing materials (decks, one-sheets, etc.)
- Update and maintain marketing materials files
- Research and monitor web activity of sustainability category and competitive media companies
- Media development research: TV, Radio and web research for potential or current media projects
- PR/Communications research advertising and environmental conferences and coordinate logistics for potential speaking engagements
- Possible, future production assistant responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Intern should be self-starting and goal-oriented with a passion for the environment.
- Available to work 2-3 full days
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint
- Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and have excellent communication skills
- Motivated individuals that work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
This opportunity is exclusively available to current students and is only for academic credit. Interns must be able to submit a letter from an accredited college/university stating the class and number of credits to be earned.
