Description
The Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District (CVSWMD) is a union municipality committed to helping its 18 member communities work toward Zero Waste.
Position Overview:
The Public Relations and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the District creates and maintains a positive public image. The Public Relations and Outreach Coordinator is additionally responsible for working with the General Manager to effectively respond to situations that may challenge the District's image and reputation.
The Public Relations and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and coordinating CVSWMD advertising, public education, public relations programs and public outreach and marketing endeavors. This is a half time position. The expected work week is 20 hours.
Compensation: $16.59/hour
