Description
The Green Building Certification Institute is currently seeking an Operations Associate to provide support to the Director of Operations in the areas of business operations and project management, as well as customer service support for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Business Operations:
- Assist in organization budget development
- Assist in organization dashboard reporting
- Process all volunteer expense reports, responding to any policy inquiries
- Maintain non Employee expense report spreadsheet
- Complete weekly timesheet checks of all staff and provide statistics on a quarterly basis
- Provide guidance to new staff on timesheet and expense report completion
- Process refund approvals
- Administer collections on outstanding invoices
Project Management:
- Maintain organization milestone tracking
- Provide project management support on organization projects
Customer Service:
- Create and provide customer promotional codes
- Provide exemplary customer service via telephone and E-mail
Administrative:
- Process visitor requests, informing building security
- Screen calls for staff, and take messages when appropriate
- Provide GBCI staff with administrative support as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Related Organizational Goals and Objectives:
- Ongoing support and improvement of existing programs
- Deliver customer service that is professional, timely and targeted to the customer's needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Business Administration or related
- Minimum 1 year relevant professional office experience
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including fluency with MS Office Suite
- Experience in creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well both as a member of a team and independently
