SunRun is the nation's leading residential solar financing company.
Position Overview:
SunRun is looking for a passionate inside sales representative to get homeowners excited about going solar with SunRun! As a SunRun inside sales representative you will join a high-performing inside sales team in downtown San Francisco that rewards performance and constantly strives for improvement. You will serve on the front-lines of putting solar on homes across America. You will be the first contact for many of SunRun's prospective customers. As such you are responsible for educating homeowners about SunRun and adding more families to our growing customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Explain SunRun's home solar product to homeowners via telephone and email
- Determine the solar potential of homes using online aerial imagery
- Educate potential customers about SunRun and overcome common objections
- Schedule consultations over the phone for our solar partners
- Track daily activities in Salesforce.com
Qualifications:
All eligible candidates are expected to meet the following basic skill requirements.
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Experience using Salesforce.com and Excel
- Ability to understand and explain a financial product
- Demonstrated interest in renewable energy
- Proven track record in working in a metrics-driven sales environment
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Possess excellent communication, telephone and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work effectively in an evolving work environment
