Position Overview:
The CEO will provide leadership and management to build HCHW and maximize its reach and impact. This role is executed through work with the Board of Directors, expert advisors, and staff in order to implement programs and develop resources that support HCHW's vision and mission. The CEO will assist in maintaining and strengthening this team-oriented operation, as well inspiring and engaging a broader alliance of collaborators.
He/she will be an experienced professional and innovator with the ability to elevate and enhance HCHW's influence with a diverse array of partners and stakeholder groups. This executive will expand HCHW's presence and impact in child health and disease prevention efforts by leveraging the organization's foundation of success, harnessing current momentum and identifying unique opportunities and strategies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position is a highly energetic, committed, and sophisticated organizer, implementer, and problem-solver with a minimum of 10 years of experience leading and managing a dynamic organization or company. This executive is a social entrepreneur who thrives on innovating to make a difference with a desire to hatch world-changing ideas and a strong track record of experience in management principles and practices, including financial management, strategic planning, and administration.
Must have at least a basic understanding of Cause Marketing and Media Technology Platforms. Candidate should also have a history and demonstrated interest in HCHW's mission and objectives as well as knowledge of environmental and health issues.
