Position Overview: 

The Online Assistant will be supporting the Communications Team in updating the websites, sending online communications to members and activists, updating and organizing on social networking sites. The Online Assistant will also be supporting the Communications Team in implementing strategic online plans to raise public awareness for Corporate Accountability International's campaign work.

Responsibilities:

  • Website editing and maintenance.
  • Updating and organizing on social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Flickr and YouTube.
  • General outreach to targeted websites and blogs.
  • Internet research.
  • Database maintenance.
  • Graphics & film editing.
  • Overall assistance with administration of the online program.

Qualifications:

  • Good computer skills and tech-savvy.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Active on social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and YouTube.
  • Website editing experience preferred - training will also be given.
  • Graphics and multimedia editing experience - training will also be given.
  • Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work in a team but also with initiative to work on your own.
  • Commitment to progressive social change and corporate accountability issues.
