The New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission has an immediate opening for a full-time position in its newly-created Sustainable Energy Division. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development of new energy programs.
Responsibilities:
Chief responsibilities include developing and managing energy efficiency and renewable energy rebate and grant programs; monitoring grant projects; responding to inquiries from rebate applicants and other stakeholders requiring technical assistance and guidance; and developing brochures, FAQs and other web-based educational materials. Applicants must have relevant experience and expertise, and demonstrated analytical and writing skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in the field of mathematics, engineering, finance, economics or business. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for 1 year of required work experience. 6 years of experience in the analysis, regulation or management of public or private corporations or the operational phases of public utilities, 2 years of which shall have been dealing with rate analysis or 1 year of which shall have been at a public utilities regulatory commission.
Compensation: Salary range is $50,914.50 to $69,556.50, with a starting salary typically not to exceed $60,567.00. The Commission offers a friendly work environment located within an hour's drive to Boston, and an attractive benefits package.
