Want to play a key role in kick-starting the renewable energy industry?
Located in the heart of the San Francisco, Clean Power Finance, Inc. is assembled of a seasoned team of Internet/Technology/Finance entrepreneurs endeavoring to bring solar and other renewable technologies to the mass market. We are searching for software engineering students and recent graduates interested in alternative energy and looking to put their skills to work.
Position Overview:
Web developer interns will be asked to use their applicable skills helping to develop our solar quote generating software and related software projects. Interns will be gaining hands-on experience and have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting start-up opportunity. We are seeking quick and independent thinkers, who are eager to participate in the current solar energy growth.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with object-oriented PHP
- Working knowledge of Linux and Apache administration a plus
- Familiarity with the Zend Framework and SVN a plus
- Ability to write clean, modular, reusable, maintainable code
Compensation: For students, course credit, if offered by your school, is available with the completion of this internship. A small stipend may be available to extremely well-qualified candidates.
