Description
Innovative, award-winning contemporary design-based architecture firm located in Manhattan is searching for talented and strong project architects. Our design-oriented approach attracts a diverse clientele and engages us in an extraordinary broad range of project types, scales and unusual programs. Our projects range from 5,000 to 6 million square feet, and comprise of ground up buildings, urban master plans, design of public spaces and interiors. More than half our work involves sustainable architecture.
Our firm is a start up and is now entering our third year. In the current economic climate we have continued to grow and we seek the most talented and dedicated staff to join the studio.
We don't do conventional marketing and get nearly all our work through reputation for design excellence. We have an open environment with a studio culture that shares, discusses and tests ideas that drive a critical approach to our practice. We pursue architecture with no "house" style but instead that is multifaceted, dense, and urban; our approach is exuberant, and intensely focused.
Qualifications:
Candidates who are highly creative and have the structure, discipline and experience to make ideas reality are encouraged to apply. Must have a 5-year architectural degree or more, 7+ years work experience, excellent design skills, solid client relations, strong communication and presentation skills, a good knowledge of construction and superb computer skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suites. 3D Studio Max, Maya, Rhino, Revit a plus.
